Userspace Tools and Libraries
Sources for all the userspace tools and libraries are available under a liberal BSD style license. You can download the source and build libX11.so and libXext.so for your system. Kernel module x11.ko for popular distribution such as Fedora 6/7 and Slackware 12 is included. This is the only closed component but can be used freely for non-commercial purposes.
MicroXwin On x86
We have made demo programs available for several x86 distribution such as Puppy 3, Fedora 10, Fedora 9 and Slackware 12. You should have root access to run the demo. Demo hasn't been tested on SMP machines. Please backup any important data. Included is a README with more information.
MicroXwin on OMAP1710
We have ported MicroXwin to the OMAP1710 chip running on the Nokia 770 platform. This distribution allows you to run x11perf benchmark on your Nokia N770 device and compare performance between MicroXwin and Xomap server. You can also review the benchmark results here.
MicroXwin on Mips AU1200
This tar file is a complete root file system that can be installed on RMI's DB1200 development platform for the AU1200 chip. This little endian embedded distribution consists of Blackbox window manager, Firefox browser, Rxvt terminal program, Leafpad Gtk2 editor and many utilities.
