User space Tools and Libraries

Sources for all the user space tools and libraries are available under a liberal BSD style license. You can download the source and build libX11.so and libXext.so for your system. Kernel module x11.ko for some x86 distributions are available below. This is the only closed component but can be used freely for non-commercial purposes.


MicroXwin On x86

We have made demo programs available for several x86 distribution such as Debian 6.0, Ubuntu 10.10, Ubuntu 10.04. You should have root access to run the demo. Please backup any important data. Included is a README with more information.


MicroXwin On QEMU ARM

We have ported MicroXwin to run on the ARM platform. You can evaluate MicroXwin on the Debian squeeze distribution running on QEMU versatile platform. Please download detailed instructions and MicroXwin ARM demo


MicroXwin On Au1200

We have ported MicroXwin and QT-4.6.0 Toolkit to RMI's Au1200 development platform. Kernel modules for Au1250 based HMP and DB1300 are also included in the Au1200 demo.
