Userspace Tools and Libraries
Sources for all the userspace tools and libraries are available under a liberal BSD style license. You can download the source and build libX11.so and libXext.so for your system. Kernel module x11.ko for some x86 ditributions are available below. This is the only closed component but can be used freely for non-commercial purposes.
MicroXwin On x86
We have made demo programs available for several x86 distribution such as Debian 5, Fedora 10 and Slackware 12.2. You should have root access to run the demo. Demo hasn't been tested on SMP machines. Please backup any important data. Included is a README with more information.
MicroXwin on ARM and MIPS
We have ported MicroXwin to the OMAP1710 chip running on the Nokia 770 platform. You can review the benchmark results here.
We have also ported MicroXwin and Firefox browser to RMI's DB1200 development platform for the AU1200 chip. Please contact us if you need more details.
