Compatibility
MicroXwin provides a binary compatible Xlib Interface on the platform it runs. It support the MIT shared memory extension, XShape extension, XTest extension for on screen keyboard and XRender extension.
Most applications, window managers and toolkits work seamlessly. Source code to build user space libraries (libX11 & libXext) is available under BSD style license.
The default visual is True Color 16 bit RGB 565 format. Windows with 16bit depth provide the best performance in terms of memory usage, rendering speed and color representation.
